Library Media Center Staff
Welcome to the Oak View Library Media Center! My name is Tamara Johnson. This is my eighth year as the library media specialist at Oak View Elementary School. At each visit, I remind our scholars of the two R's. The main purpose of a library visit is to "Read and Research". I am passionate about literacy and work diligently to support a love of and habit of reading through library programming. I also diligently collaborate with our staff to create library lessons that help to strengthen reading and literacy skills. The goal of our library staff is to maintain a welcoming, positive learning environment with current, accessible resources that support instructional needs.
